Volunteer of Sun Flower Club

During 4 years in university, I had a golden opportunity to work as a volunteer at Sun Flower Club which was a charity organization in the Faculty of Sociology. There were some charity events held each year such as the Mid Autumn Festival, Free Meal, Volunteer Foot... I have been exposed to many kinds of people who were involved in physical disabilities, orphan children, the elderly...

After each event, I always have a strong feeling about those situations and I will participate in more charity events to help more people overcome every challenge in their lives.

(Entrance Exam Support Program 2020)

In August 2020, I registered Entrance Exam Support Program 2020 as a volunteer. This is probably my last volunteering activity in my university life because I am going to be graduated in December 2020. In this program, my job was to take care of supporting high school students and their parents for the final exam which is a vital opportunity to get into universities in Vietnam. Moreover, the rainy season has been happening at the present and our support might gain some disadvantages. After all, we have done great jobs and I has been voted to be an excelent volunteer in the program.

(Green Consumption campaign 2020)

Three months later, I carried on joining another volunteering campaign which was about the replacement of using plastic stuffs for living - Green Consumption campaign 2020. I am a big fan of eco-friendly and organic products such as recycling box, straws, personal bottles and so on. Because of that, our environment would become cleaner and be prevented from global warming and pollution. During the campaign, I shared my story about eating clean and healthy organic food wrapped in banana leaves and my personal lunch box on my social media in order to express this message to the world. Not only that, each of every posts on Facebook with hashtag #tieudungxanh, #quycongdongxanh, #hanmanmientay, #trieulitnuocngot, would contribute 10 litres of fresh water to the citizens living in the Mekong Delta for preventing the global warming. All in all, I believe this campaign would raise a positive impact to the world about protecting the environment from our usual behaviors.

Make yourself clean and healthy

Reducing plastic bags, foam boxes and plastic bottles in order to carry food and beverages by using personal lunch boxes and bottles is one of the most important way to protect the environment.

Moreover, eating vegetable, fruits and brown rice could bring a healthy lifestyle and good strenght for whom trying to lose weight and keep fit.

THE PERSONAL BOTTLE OF WATER

Personal bottles are made of materials that do not harm the environment, will bring a sense of comfort and convenience to users. We can use it anytime, anywhere. If running out of water, we can wash and use other types of water without changing as plastic cups, plastic bottles. Not only that, individual bottles belong to their owners so it is very difficult for other people to use them without their permission. This plays a very important role in the current social situation, the Covid19 pandemic is becoming more serious and negatively affecting human health. Therefore, everyone should be aware of personal hygiene, avoiding contact with many people directly and indirectly through the use of objects together. I believe that personal bottles not only contribute to improving the quality of the environment, but also help people to prevent current diseases to maintain our health. I have used personal bottles during my family activities, studying and working outdoors. Have you bought yourself a personal bottle yet?
